Night hunt in NC?

Does anyone here know if it's legal to hunt coyote at night in NC? I know I can't use a light on the gun, but is it legal to hunt them at night? The regulations is a bit confusing.

I would contact your local game and fish department and ask them for a clarification on the rules and regulations regarding night hunting. That would be your best bet, instead of someone else's interpretation of them.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. The NC laws aren't really clear, but rumor has it that they are gonna allow night hunting of coyotes soon anyways. They're becoming a real pest out here. Between them and the hogs, the east is gonna need some serious riflemanship soon I do believe. If not we'll end up like in Europe where these kinds of animals are moving into cities and causing trouble there.
