What type of gear should a first time/beginner level coyote hunter pack with them on a hunt?

If you want it really simple and straight forward just grab a call and a rifle and your off on your way. If you wanna get complicated you might as well bring the kitchen sink with you. Everyone has a different opinion on what they should bring with them on a coyote hunt :?

I'd say just some calls and rifle until you decide you want to stick with the sport. It can be a very frustrating and humbling experience. No sense in spending a bunch of money until you decide you want to stick it out.

I have a buddy that decided to get into it after we were talking about how much we enjoyed it. He bought a new rifle, bipod, calls, etc. This was two or three years ago. I am not even certain that he has even sighted the gun in yet!

The most important thing I bring with, besides gun, ammo, caller and camo,,,a good hunting buddy.
If you don't get anything, at least you can go have a beer and blame your buddy.

Rifle and bipod, shotgun most of the time, extra ammo, calls (hand and electronic sometimes), binos, coyote drag, camera, small knife, rangefinder not all are necessary just what i have gotten used to.

Neccesaties= Rifle and a hand call and get after it.

tried to download & i had trouble trying for the last 15-20 min. so here it is i thought that i might get in on the action of gear/rigs & such. my setup is a savage 111gl 270 win hardwood w/ leupold 3x9-40 LR (i take it that everyone knows what that is LR) scope. i use a number of different calls. some on mp3, electronic caller, mouth calls, actually one of my mouth call is for pheasants, but i removed the wood & blow into the open reed & it sounds like a baby waa waaing. i will try to get it in somewhere but if you really a need to see it email me. it might just be the run of the mill for most of you all being a gun from wally world, & such but for me it would be my first "Real Rifle" setup. i decided on what i wanted, what i was going to use it for & saved & got things when i could. we will see if i like it or not. does not matter because i will use it & like it or use it & not like it. i don't have money just to throw around. i will adapt to it. but for now i like. oh by the way my wheels is a 1982 F150 that has a squeally problem. i park about 1/2 mile away. again not that bad & if it gets a scratch on it i won't cry.
