Back in the 80's the coyote numbers where very high west of the Missouri, as the population increased the coyotes moved farther out to claim their own terr. plus you also had the transit coyotes that just moved around till they found a place they liked. Mn had a population of coyotes proably way before the 80's and as the population increased they made there way south and west and east. We may also have some that made there way up from Iowa.. Who knows for sure where they all came from..
In central Iowa the callers there have a tough time calling there coyotes and maybe i got some of the same coyotes.LOL
