Double/Double

Post by Tbush »

Well went out this morning for the first time since the Minot Tournament. 1st set called with a jack rabbit here comes one working my down wind side then I spot another holding up so I put on the coyote in distress and now they're both running. The one down wind comes in doing the mule deer pounce stops and "bang flop" turn to the other hes heading out turn on the fox pro to coyote in distress and hes still running but starts to circle back. Well I barked a bunch of times and he stopped "bang flop" :D Made another set and 0. 3rd set up turn on the wood pecker for 8-10sec. magpie instantly, I see a coyote just step out of the timber and sit down, look to the right and ones trotting in, Look at the other still sitting, The ones still coming, I look back still sitting there, so now I figure on switching to coyote distress, So I do and look at the one coming now hes running and the other ones butt is still glued to the ground, Swing back to see the other has now turned into two running side by side. I scream out a half ass bark and they stop "bang flop", now her partner is running right at me and won't stop and turns going to my right bang :( she's now in 4th gear running away. Flip on the fox pro and she stops about 250 "bang FLOP" All done by 10:30am what a way to start :D sure hope I have'nt used up all my luck

Dcoy... snipe pod on the gun

Dcoy,Thats the one I use in the snow its taped together w/ white tape. I do this so if I have to pull it up out of the snow it stays together? I also use one thats longer in the winter it helps with sinking in the snow and keeps a good height

Great job Tbush. Are you hunting alone in the classic this year?? I don't see the other Tbush on the list!

Well hope to chat some with you in Dickinson. Be great to see you in Balta hope you can make it. I know it hasn't worked out with sportshows and such in the past.
