Took a little trip

Post by Tim Anderson »

I made a trip out to S.D. for the Var. Hunter Jamboree and the Mr. Coyote contest. I did'nt win but i got to hang out with some of the boys and shoot the breeze most of the day. Later i went to Randy Roede house for food and drink and had a great time.. Some of the callers i hung out with where Randy Shaw, Les Johnson, Steve thompson, Jerry Hunsley and of course Randy R... Great bunch of guys and had a good time...

After hanging out with a group of callers and alot of coyote talk i got the itch to go out and do some locateing for this fall.. I made five stands and called in eight coyote with one blank stand and five coyotes on one of the stands.. I was'nt looking to kill any unless they needed it and it just so happened on the first stand i came across a male coyote that was in rough shape so i did him a favor but i passed on the rest....

Nice pics Tim. I talked with Jerry Hunsley a little bit and he was telling me about the good time at Randy's place wish I could have been there.
I would rather have a slow hit than a fast miss...

Tim, Randy took a little trip back down where he shot the coyote he posted on here earlier. Maybe he will post the nice picture on here. I think he pretty well took care of the problem for the guy with the sheep. Patience was the key in this situation as he had located the coyotes earlier this year. He picked the right day and everything came together. Anyway, he took 4 off the guys place just in case he doesn't post the picture. I would post it , but I think I better let him decide on that.
