" prolly at least 3-4 more " Thats funny. I am betting a few more then that Bucs lol. I am a firm believer in snowshoes now after this last year. You can cover a lot more ground in deep snow with less effort then you can with out them.

Thats a no brainer for me. I hate the snow!! There will always be other coyotes to come fill into the area at a later date.

Yep!!! What Chris and Levi said. I like those years that when January comes and I am out around Dickinson, that you can still walk across a pretty much green pasture and any snow is piled up and hard as ice on the fencelines. It does make picking a camo pattern tough and the coyotes are not as easy to pick off with binos but I'll take it over snow any day.

Bucks the army surplus one are the cheapest at sportsman's guide.

I do have 2 pairs of wood shoes, a pair of ojibwas in11x54 and a pair of hurons in 14x54, just looking for something smaller in size/ and lighter

thought I'd share.. thats all.

The magnesium mil surp ones are probably the best bang for the buck at $40 or so. Pretty tough too.

I do like my wood bearpaws, especially getting back in the brush to check snares, but there is some maintenance needed to keep em tip top.
