Thanks Mr. Pilgrim

Post by Dcoy »

I initially posted this in the Top Dog forum by mistake and he won't see it there so here it goes in this forum.

"Thank you Pilgrim

Pilgrim left his call here last year and he's being such a responsible guy he hasn't hunted much yet and hasn't picked it up.There's only one sound on it I like but I want to verify for him that it still works.First set this morning.
PS.I charged your batteries."

You should go to confession for using another man's call. Oh wait, I guess you just did. Say 3 hail marys, kill 5 coytes and be on your way my son. :D

You're welcome, Dcoy.

No fret to leave for Dcoy's useful enjoyment after I decided it appealed to me to return to "One G" methods if I was ever to experience anything useful. Besides, I could avoid being caught with the calling unit and then have to describe why it is not a flashlight, then to explain coyote hunting... to eventually, Ever kill anything using the call?, where I’d have to say, No. It’s the whole “Ask one question, create 10 more” quandary. My neighbors can be a complicated audience. I spent many years shooting my bow in my yard until Chuck across the street told me that someone started tale-bearing that it was my intention to display a phallic symbol for all to see (he was referring to the stabilizer in front of the riser). It’s a pretty big stabilizer so maybe there’s some reverence that works in my favor?

Mouth calls are a different matter.
