Found it on allpredatorcalls.com , wow this is just a WT with a different sticker. Same price as a WT??

Looks like the remote has a on off switch not the sleep feature the WT remote has so if I forget to shut it off i don't have dead batteries??

Can an old guy like me read that screen. in the sun??

Looking at it the way they have the antennas I see them getting busted. Especially the one on the caller. On a sling you would have to watch it crossing fences thru cover, going to catch, WT folds down and is flexible. Looks like it is very rigid???

All those whatevers the remote does may be something you all want, I just want a few sounds, with numbers i remember to play when I push the remote, I have the 10 favorite deal and don't use it etc. just simple things when I want it.

I'm betting this is a hot topic in NJ!!! May have to make a call and visit!!

INTERESTING!!!

Ok I listened to the sounds off FP website and assuming those are all the sounds and those are the 50 i get to pick from when buying a new caller. No comparison to WT sounds and selection, a lot of FP were mouthcalls recorded etc. Maybe i missed something but if i didn't it was a big difference IMO!! I like sounds of actual animals, FP had a few but not much to pick from.

Seems to be a real shortage of pup distress stuff Randy, sounds for denning with the dogs etc. Bill has some dandies #44 and #45 on my dial, remember them Daryl?? Howls were different, but it's just what i am used to.

I will say it is a definite direction in the right direction for FP, still trying to catch up thou IMO!!!!

Oh I remember.. I beleive there #43 and #44 on mine. I think they worked pretty darn well as I recall. I never seen so many darn coyotes come to a call in such a short hunting trip.. Can't wait to do it again buddy. I am getting the itch pretty bad. I am hoping my new rifle is built by mid October or so and may have to give it a test run :D

LOL Randy.. I never claimed the idea of drilling ahole in the remote for a cord but i did pass youre idea on to other WT owners.. But did'nt you copy the idea from one of the F-P guys??
What WT used to have is a very exspensive product which limited the buyers, now he has dropped his prices to stay in competition and as more people buy the product those "Limited" sounds won't be so limited anymore and with the WT closed system you either keep plugging away with the same or buy 10 new sounds for 100.00.

An open system allows you many options mix and match sounds and more flexible. It would be easy for Ol Bill to offer an open system but then some may find out you don't need his sounds to call in and kill coyotes as much as some may want you to believe. It would hurt his sound sales but I think he would sell more units if he did so.

When i bought my WT i got 35 sounds with it mostly for calling coyotes and at the moument i see no reason to add anymore sounds to it for calling coyotes, the ones i have work great and on most stands i only need to use a couple...

If Bill offered a open sytem there would be fewer callers sold.. A hand full of guys would copy off the WT sounds and give them to other callers. I think Bill should leave it the way it is or maybe sell a WT that is down loadable but dose'nt come with his sounds..

My WT came with 60 free sounds of my choice. I was just looking on the WT website and they had 24bit in 2004 and in 2008 they went to a 32bit processor. Hmmmmm someone is lieing. Not that i think it makes alot of difference but for those that do it looks like WT is maybe a little more up to date than FP makes them out to be. I also see they are going to have a FP vs WT section on there site coming in Sept..

TA, I have had lanyards on my WT remotes since the very first one 2003??? , not even sure what FP you would be referring to. I'm not smart enough to copy, just lazy enough to invent things that work and make my life easier.

Daryl I saw that tech stuff too!! Don't understand it, looks like a he said she said deal!!

That FP is sure a WT knockoff isn't it!!

I saw it on another site where it doesn't have the foxpo decal on the speaker and I would swear it is a WT with a FP remote.
Look at it on here. Looks like a lawsuit LOL...

Randy did you miss C22 in the mark II list? also 216 and 179 in standard sound list? They have worked for me. 210 as well.181 is also good. Don't think any of those are from a mouth call. I know Cal T did some of the real coyote stuff on good recording equipment. Daryl do you think FoxPro would print something they could be sued over? I don't think you would get a definative statement unless they had something to back it up with? I know I sure wouldn't invite litigation without proof? WE all know how it works all want to sell product, each has a following and the freedom to choose I think the last remark of Bills I saw on another site was he had something comming out that would bring FoxPro to it knees

Randy when we can get together that would be good I would like for you to hear the new CS-24 and also the remote.

Hey TA and coyotelatrans did you see the LOL behind that remark. I figured all the FP guy would get bent before this topic was burnt out. I don't care I like my WT but as I have said in past post's I have friends with FP's and they are a good product.

Some of F-P newer sounds came from Cal T. and i heard that some callers are haveing good luck with his sounds and deffently an improvement for F-P.. F-P also bought some or all of the rights to Bill Austines recordings one of which is the female invite of which i have had great success with when i used my D.K caller..
