hunting dogs in the ga area,in the woods

I dont have alot of open area.can yall give me some tips on calling and locating in the woods

Make short stands. carry a shotgun. make a stand every 300 - 500 yards. Be ready for fast action!!

thanks i will try that in the morning.another question should i just use a distress call our try a locating howler
first then a distress call .i was told if you howl to many times its a warning call to all the other coyotes.what do yall think

It seems as though you really dont know much about howling. I would stick with the distress sounds until you fully understand howling. Your sounds in the woods wont travel very far as it would if it were open terrain.

your right i just started with the howlers.but i have gotten a bit better with them. i have called alot of dogs in with
my distress calls i think i will stay with what works. i still enjoy making the dogs in my sub-divison go nuts . in the
beging they would just bark, now i got them howling it drives my wife nuts to. thanks for the adivise
