wind need to be at your face or on your cheek. How close are you tring to sneek up after locating them? How long are you sitting on stand? give some more info i'm just stabbing in the dark here.

Hi, :)
I am in southWestern Pa. I hunt first thing in the Morning and I stay on stand about an Hour and a half,
we have a lot of Hills, heavy brush Pastures and woods , I get them comming up between the woods and the pasture, mostly along fence rows.
I set up where I can see the pasture and have a good shot up to at lest 200 yards or better. I set an Electronic call around 75 Yards out in front of me. facing down to the woods.

if you have them located I would not get so close before you start calling. give yourself some room to work. You can always move up. good chance they know you are there before you even start if you are that close before you start to call.

I agree the object is to CALL THEM IN you're most likely spooking them before they get a chance to hear your calls
