My son sent me this pic pretty cool

I saw that pic on another site. The guy said he shot him and did him a favor but looks like he has been laying there awhile.

What the heck!! LOL

Look at the sore on his leg from trying to get the can off.

Im not even going to begin to ask questions

You would of thought that would of choked him out! I can't beleive he lived long enough for someone to shoot him

I think what Daryl is getting at is that the guy probably didn't shoot him. Or am I misunderstanding you Daryl?

Well his neck is smaller that his skull so it shouldn't choke him but he would be alittle stiff necked. There would be no looking back as he was running off.

Your right Fallguy! I think he just found him dead and took a picture but he said that he did him a favor. But look at the snow on him and the sore on his leg looks dry. I say he was dead for awhile. Just My Opinion

Even if the coyote was shot or not the only possible way that i can fathom that he got that damn thing on his kneck was that he did it when he was a pup. Now obviously he has had that can around his kneck for quite sometime cause his head and body developed around it. Some how he has managed to stay alive for a while since he was a pup with that can on there. If you look closer i bet his head and kneck are almost completely underdeveloped. It just amazes me there ability to use all there senses to live. Im sure that coyote had a hard time hearing and used mainly his nose as a hunting tool. Adaptation is something that one can never underestimate with a coyote.

Yeah Daryl that snow on the coyote also threw me off. That would be quite a shot if by the time you walked up to the coyote it had snowed!

Either way...that is very wierd!

Especially when the sun is shining in the picture and the yote is in the shade

Geez sorry just learned how to post pics I think he sufferd a long slow death and died from infection." look at the can by his neck looks like maybe it was rotten around that area"??? I think he could put his head through if he pushed it in then ears and eye sockets got in the way and he turned in to canned coyote

Have to try and slide a can on a dead coyote and see what happens, but just sold the 4 I shot yesterday
