Hey Prairie Ghost, I thought maybe that was you when I read the signature line, lost track of you a few years ago. any way hunting was fair at best. weather was pretty mild and not much was moving and they were picky, Silverfox and I haven't made it out yet this year 1st time in a long time we haven't made at least one hunt togeather. But we might yet just for the fun of it Fur is pretty much rubbed by now. So keep in touch.

the first 6 coyotes i shot in dec were so mangy I wouldn't touch them, I did manage to shoot a doz or so that were nice, It seems that when we get rough weather in southern SASK we get a movement of coyotes south, we didn't get that this year. I have a friend who is tagging along with a couple of Sask coyote hunters as we speak and he said a 100 miles north of the boarder is is pretty fair weather, no snow mid 30's temp but He is near saskatoon today and it is full blowen winter there, his first stand this morning he had 11 show up. he said its been unbelieveable for coyote numbers the past 2 days he is almost being run over. He is just tagging along n/r non-canadiens can not hunt coyotes in saskatchewan, it would almost be torture. anyway you are brad toftgruben (sp) right. use to go to school in grand forks and worked in a taxidermy shop right. or am I confused.

Yep.

I have heard that the numbers up in Sask and Alberta are just unbelieveable
