I read the following post on a online news forum.
"Osama bin Laden was given a proper Muslim burial."
Translation: we threw his dead ass over board and fed him to the sharks.

I'd be willing to bet that sometime in the last few years there came a moment when he realized that we weren't going to quit until we had him. I wish I could have been there to see the look on his face when he figured it out. The shitty truth of it is that as long as we live well and with a reasonable amount of freedom, there are always going to be people that hate us for it.
