Well the blizzard is here and it's truly a blizzard.We have near zero vis,heavy snow,sustained wind at 38 with gusts to 48,and as I sit here waiting for the power to go out and plunge us into what sounds like a miserable 72 hours or so(possibly 18 inches of new snow 
)I've been re skimming Ray Alcorns book,'Coyote Man'.
Ran into this purported quote of an old rancher who attended a scientific conference on coyotes.After all the presentations were done he apparently couldn't take it any longer and stated:
This meeting stunk;it was all BS!I have lived with coyotes all my life.They have eaten my hogs,sheep and chickens,and have ruined my watermelons.I've saved pups to raise and the thanks I got was they pooped in my lap.I've killed em with dogs,dynamite,burned them with gas,shot,trapped,and snared em.I've watched em for hundreds of hours,and do you know what the G-- D----- coyote is all about?
If he can't eat it or screw it,he'll piss on it".
