this moose was killed about 1.5 miles from my property at about 6:10 a.m. friday morn. i dropped Denise off to bowhunt and was going down the hiway when i seen flashing lights. a small car t-boned the moose on the hiway. i waited till the state patrol showed up and said i wanted the moose. no problem. Boy was Denise suprised to come out of the woods to me having this in the back. ( had to borrow a trailor from the hendrum cop) the gun is for (lying) prop's anyway, got it buchered up and am grilling moose loins as i write

Buck, Your just a plain lucky guy. At first when I read the post "Good Eating" I thought I was going to get a good recipe for coyote. The only thing I have eaten that was moose was moose burger and it was delicious. Good for you. That will be a lot of good free eats.

Now i know why i never saw any road killed coons when i was up youre way.
