Gimp coyote

Well all the pics and threads lately have been getting to me so despite waterfowl and the rut coming on been antsy to 'open' my season. Then more crap happened so now with the ongoing 'craps' every hour, being near blind in one eye and then the new issue that is pretty much making me 'one armed' right now,I was close to trying a set or two.Was PMing Dusty about my ongoing physical issues this morning and since I can't swing a gun right now told him I had ordered a 70 inch bipod so I could 'draw down' on yotes or deer or whatever but i also jerry rigged an old monopod so I had 'two arms' and told him i was going out to try get me a yote.
By god I did.One arm and a mickey mouse monopod got this guy at 329 paces.(new dream Geovid makes that range issue unbelievably simple :D )Used the old 220 Improved 'cannon' so at that range its line of sight-aim and shoot.Bolt is now on the wrong side but knew I wouldn't be working it fast with one arm anyway so why not?He really obliged by hanging up,then sitting down.Sweet-removed the vertical issue and just a simple deal of not missing right/left.
Solid proof Gimps can score!(even if they are too stupid to not just give it up.)Forgot my drag rope so used the rifle sling if you're wondering whats around his neck.
Looking at this pic speaks volumes on just how stupid I(we?)am.Custom screaming rifle;exotic handloads;Leica Geovid rangefinder;Atom Bomb call;etc all costing an amount that is downright embarrassing considering the coyote is worth about $6.95.Yes,we are ALL nuts.
Good hunting!

Some here already knew this,or at least suspected it, but for those that didn't,you can now add senility to all my other ailments.Go back to the pic for a second.Just under the muzzle of the barrel you can see something grey.Thats a facemask but inside of it is my remote for the million dollar Atom Bomb call. After the pic,I packed up and left. And left the facemask and remote there.
Just had a call from the Rancher asking if I was missing anything.I said 'no,why?'And he tells me what he found while opening the gate just to the right of the pic.At least I'm a damn lucky embarrassed old senile guy.

A funny reminder of just how far 329 yds is-even in a day when it seems everyone thinks they are 'smoking em' at 600 yds and beyond.I'm sitting in the exact same rockpile with the ranchers kid on a youth deer hunt yesterday and I ask how far is to that hillside over there?(where the coyote was sitting)."Oh,close to a mile" was the answer. Kid obviously has to work on range estimation but there's a message there-329 yds is still a ways down the road.Even in this day with 'snipers' behind every tree.
