Board attitude/WDM

What happened recently on a thread I started has me thinking this morning.(a rarity nowadays). One of the great things about this forum has been the absence of BS and what I'll call 'attitude'.That has started to change a bit and I'm taking this opportunity to urge all to think about the issue and try monitor and control their 'attitude'.I certainly include myself cause as most know there are some subjects that rile me up and bring out a 'know it all' attitude that sucks.I intend to try control that or just avoid subjects that bring that out.
Lots of good, helpful info here and I'd hate like hell to lose it.Worth thinking about.
On another, but somewhat related note.I serve on a citizens 'board' here in SoDak that gets to hear and consider and 'advise' on assorted subjects and last nite we dealt with the States new Wildlife Damage Management system. As the experts dealing with that in this State who frequent here know, the system has been just reorganized(largely due to a funding mess)and our control officers now have new duties and responsibilities that include 'control' of all animals/birds that cause depredation. In some areas/regions that won't change much but in others they will have to be experts on many things including deer, turkeys,GEESE,beavers, coyotes, name it.They'll be trappers, hunters,PR guys and a host of things only true qualified experts can handle.I bring this up cause on this site we have the benefit of at least 5 of these guys contributing their knowledge to us.Lets not lose it.AND,if you don't think they are qualified, lets just say that if one is to be hired, there will be 100s,yes 100s of applicants applying many of which have not only 'experience',but degrees in Wildlife Management.I won't bore you with statistics and what they do and accomplish but they really ARE experts that deserve our thanks and respect.
