I have found volume to mean more than just how far away or how close to the coyotes you are. High volume at times can change the mood of those coyotes with certain sounds, that I have found out through some trial and error with different sounds.

So Randy you are using the energizer charger and not the WT? I thought about those 15 min chargers but they have to put a hurtin on batteries I would think as well? Could be wrong but that is quick

When I went to rechargeable I bought the Energizer 15 minute Charger and the Energizer batteries its 12 volt and 110. Very handy and quick. It's what was reccomended, same thing numerous people have. Most all who have one here have this system. I just think my aloted charges must have run out. Must have over 200 plus charges on them.

Randy, you must be flyin??? Up pretty early!! I am due for an oil change this a.m. and got to save some hours!! Wind suppose to howl today!!

TA, if you remember mine had broken and I had taken a piece of a straw and black taped it to cover the antenna wire, still worked fine. Heard of other ones doing it also, if you drop or bang it on that antenna it pops, the old remotes had a similar deal, rigid antenna and they busted. Cold weather was the worst. Plastic and 20 below doesn't work. You ought to get the new one.

Randy when they compared the volume did they use the highest powered, loudest WT in the test??? Or was it a comparison with the same wattage. Curious?? It seems this tech stuff may be different depending on who you talk to and who is trying to sell whatever to.

Randy he compaired apples to apples same wattage across the board but if you look up specs on the TOA factory website you will be amazed at what little differance in DB from a 10W to a 30 W for the added size.

I think before you know it they are going to have hot looking women trying to sell one brand over the other or some big name well known guy promote their product  . I have strong belief that if its not broken why fix it. If your call works for you and you are successful with it and it meets or exceeds your needs thats perfect. Its just amazes me how far the industry has gone to target coyote hunters in just the past few years. Randy i think you hit it on the head when you said all this tech stuff seems to be different dependent on who you talk to and what they are trying to sell and who to

Chris, I had a phone conversation the other day of over an hour in length discussing techno mumble jumble that kind of made sense from time to time and then got way over my head. This comparision from MONSTER etc. The bottomline is that I can make it call coyotes but i can't make it!! I sure can put them to the test thou. If they last three months with me without a breakdown they will survive normal use. That's why i hunt with what I do, it takes the beaten. I break it long before it breaks. Any weak spot will show up real quick.

Tried the old Johnny Stewart today on a set, no luck, ran like a champ thou and hadn't been used in better than 7 years. Maybe tomorrow. WT got a couple.
