I have a Savage model 10 predator in 22-250AI that has a really good tube on her.
PACNOR barrel 1-8 twist SS Super match hand lapped that is fluted up purdy I would say about 500 RDS down the pipe
Also have the factory barrel that was also punched to AI and fluted to go with it 1-12 twist
$ 600.00 and she can be parked in your driveway.
Can you posts some pics of your Savage? Sounds like a nice setup.

I shot my first coyote a couple years ago with a .300win mag. It made a hole that I could have stuck my fist through. A 7mm Rem Mag isn't too far off power wise. I've got some 120grain Vmax rounds loaded for my 7mm, but haven't tried them on any critters yet. I would think that if you want to save the pelts, try a FMJ round with a magnum caliber. If wanna just make a streak out em, then the sky's the limit!
