coyote diet
i know coyotes eat a variety of food but yesterday was an eye opener. shot a yote at 275 yards with a varmit grenade and finished it with a ballistic tip. the b-tip hit in in the gut. went out to retrieve it and seen sunflower seeds, corn, some kind of bean, soy i think. along with several types of hair.on the snow next to carcass. did'nt realize they eat corn and beans. i once shot a yote while it was eating a sugar beet, died with it in his mouth. while bowhunting in western n.d last sept. i was seeing coyote crap on all the roads n trails. they were pitch black in color i stopped to anylize one to see why they were so black and found out they were solid cricket parts. the stubble fields were covered in crickts.i even watched a badger chasing them.
the more food you have in your mouth at one time, the better you can taste it!!!

Re: coyote diet
They are opportunistic feeders, 'anything and everything'.
