Hey guys I'm new to the site and I've got a question. I just got a smith and wesson 1500 passed down to me by my grandfather. It is chambered in .223 and i am going to use it for coyote hunting this season. My question is about the rifle. Does anyone have any experience with this rifle or know anything about it? I tried to look it up but there was limited information because smith and wesson only carried this rifle for about two years. Any information will be helpful. Thank you.
Also i plan on buying a foxpro wildfire. Does anyone have any luck with this call?

I am not familiar with that gun but I do have a wildfire and it is a great dependable Ecaller.

Found this on a forum. Sounds like it was made by Howa and was the same as the Weatherby Vangard and Mossberg 1500.

Note the recall about the gun firing accidently if incorrectly reassembled.
