He was going to get those dogs of mine. Normally I would have let him pass by, work the dogs and try to pull that female in but with the trees and hills it can go bad fast. I have more footage, sate there for about another 30 min. with no show on the female. I never did hear any pups at that location either. That time of year I have had older dry pairs work the dogs pretty hard. I am sure there was a den back there some were from the direction he come from it gets real rough back there. Rocks and trees back there, big deep drainages. very tough country to den in.
