finally figured out this forum new to site and yote hunting

im new to the calling of yotes however i have hunted with dogs but i think it would be alot better to watch yotes come in naturally rather than chased...... where to start i have a rifle .243 in caliber and have been unsuccessful at callin all winter long..... what is the trick i have a cheap electronic call and a couple mouthcalls made by M.A.D. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT i aint one for reading books but will read forums and such thanks

Just search around on the site and do some reading. once you kill your first one you'll get better

I have a electronic call but seldom use it there great for locating before the sun comes up but if you stick with a mouth call and get good with it you'll be shooting coyotes on a regular basis. I practice with my while driving out to the hunting area you'll know when you've mastered the call , I've hunted coyotes for 50 years and have dozens of mouth call most all of them will work.

I have an electric call it sounds good,but the coyotes i kill all came to deer calls,grunt and fawn in distress.
I WONDER WHAT THEY FEED ON AROUND HERE? LOL
