Well boys, Marty decided it was to cold for him

, so he packed up and headed to hawaii.. I guess this leaves me hunting solo for the week.. I was able to make it out this evening by myself.. Here are the results..

I packed up and head out around 1o'clock after helping my dad with some snow removal

.. Decided to head to an area close to town that I know has good numbers, but also a few guys call..
Made my first stand around 2 with no takers.. Man was it an awsome spot!.. Ill be back there..
Ended up talking to a farmer for about a half hour after the 1st stand and gaining some permission.. sweet!! I love new areas. Decided on setting up on a haystack

overlooking a creek bed. Not the best spot, but then not a bad spot either. Called for 20 minutes with the only takers being 3 mule deer that were sure interested in my wines

.. But nothing more to speak of..
I packed up and headed across the road to a spot I had been eyeing before.. After a long walk in I was set up.. I started with rabbit cries off and on for 10 minutes. I then threw my secret sound in and after 17 minutes nothing was interested.. I scrolled through my sounds on the FoxPro and decided.. what the heck ill try a lonesome howl.. After two howls a coyote answers a mile down the drainage.. SWEET!! I know this game..

.. I packed up sprinted back to the truck with the dim remaining light and headed to were I heard that coyote!! 10 minutes later im set up in his kitchen with the wind in my face

.. does it get aby better than this??
I decide to start with LOW rabbit distress, and I see the coyote leaving out on me

.. Mitch!! Your better than that.. I should have just howled to begin with.. Well its not to late to try!!

.. I bust out a lonesome howl and the coyote whirls around.. Here he comes!!!.. I get my new favorite toy (My dads AR

) situated and ready.. Now im calling steep break country and the coyote is in and out of sight.. At approx. 500 yards I lip squeak him.. He puckers up and drops into the next ravine.. I Love it!!. The coyote tops the next ridge and comes down a game trail right into my lap.. At 75 yards I yell " Hey you " at the coyote

and he looks my way.. To late buddy.. I put a 50 g. Vmax through his mouth ( Literally) He didnt budge.. I packed him up and headed back to town.
I was even in time for practice! And My dad snapped a quick Pic. Back at the ranch!

.. Pretty coyote to! GOD BLESS! Enjoy.
