Wizbang, obviously you don't get what I'm saying. There's hunting coyotes for fun like what you do, and I do as well. Then there is killing coyotes. Coyotes that have an impact on the livelyhood of family's that raise livestock. When a coyote kills a baby calf, that could cost a rancher such as my self and my father 700$ Give or take. So figure you have 100 cows and you lose 5 calves because of a couple of problem coyotes. What length would you go to stop a DOG from taking 3500$ out of your family's pocket. Show me the hippie that if given the opportunity would give you 3500$ for a f-ing coyote's life. Money talks my friend and mother nature ain't got nothin to do with it. If I go out tommorow morning and see a coyote circling a momma cow with a fresh baby, its game on and I'm not fightin fair. Then maybe later I'll go out and call on a neighbors place that doesn't have cows, no problem coyotes, no reason at all to kill the crafty little critters. Maybe I'll call one in and give him the buisness with my 204. Maybe it wont work out and I'll go home. No bubbles no troubles. Just like you would.

I get it. My family has livestock too. I just worry about the ammo the PETA people have when people go tearing through the fields shooting out of a vehicle.
I'd probably use grenades in that example too.

Peta would find something to complain about if we were catch and releasing them! Instead of bowing their complaints make a strong point for what you believe in and let them argue it. Most of the time they don't do their research and are fairly undeducated on the subject they are arguing. There was a guy in AZ i beleive that they jumped all over as did the GF becasue he was calling in coyotes and shooting them with a paintball gun! No matter what we do they will be there calling us cruel
