That will work. Have similar cept I'm using a hand crank winch.. I see you have a low ceiling like I do which really sucks. One of the locals uses a electric winch as well cept he has a taller ceiling and has his set up to pull straight up and down. Either will get the job done..
Mitch should invest in one or the other, less green bellies and a bigger fur check..

Nice setup Are you using a 12VDC or 110VAC powered winch? What pulling weight did you go with? I've been thinking about going to a setup like this.

it is a 12 volt marine battery. I think it is a 4500 lb winch, it is more than enough.
