deer opener double

after getting my deer with a muzzle loader early friday afternoon. sat morning the wind slowed enough to get i had talked to a farmer who has around 30 sheep with a frequent coyote or two that had been seen. did a bit of looking and found my spot to set up. small pasture dropping into a long running slough. set up my quiver critter 30 yards out and started with a soft jack rabbit. 10 seconds in a white head pops up 75 yards out. shut call off and he spotted the decoy and with a lip sqeek he beelined to 40 yards where my shot him dead in his tracks. being it happened so quickly i let it settle for few mins and startedf with the baby cottentail. 10 seconds later i spot his girlfriend standing out at 162 yards. not willing to come in and her nose straight up in the air i let the second shot fly knocking her down. felt great to get out and help a farmer out! cant wait for the snow to fly
