Calling in the young ones...

I have called in and shot a few coyotes this year, but I couldn't tell if they were pups or not. What month are the pups usually brave enough to respond to calling? It seems pretty easy right now for calling, so I was wondering if I am calling in dumb pups... or am I just getting good!!! lol

There is a good chance that your are calling in pups you should still be able to tell by the teeth.

The pups around here are still "flat" sided. They are the last ones to prime up and it shows this time of year.
