could you guys help me with this. I am new to trapping and dont know how to sell my pelts. Should you skin them and salt them? or what. So then do I just ship them to the fur company? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: fur selling
DO NOT SALT THEM. You will not be able to sell them to a buyer if they are salted. It involves tarrifs shipping them across seas a salted hide is considered a finished product.
Skin flesh and dry them and i would deal with a local buyer if you can so that you can ask him more questions about how to put up your fur to his liking.
If you do some digging there should be a lot of topics on how to put up fur.
What kind of critters are you pursuing
