I have had very little runners with any of the calibers if the shot was in the body.

I am on my 2nd .22-6mm barrel and have had a total of 2 lost coyotes with it. hits real hard. About 99.9% sure both died, if I would have had the dog I would have recovered both. nothing beats a well placed shot.

Is that a 6mm Remington case, necked down to .224?

Yep. Sure is pushing a 69 grain bullet right around 3500ftps
